Screedflo Anhydrite Screed

Traditional sand and cement screeds are slow and labour intensive to install. They are also highly dependant upon the quality of the installer.

Developed over twenty years ago, anhydrite screed has many obvious benefits compared to traditional sand and cement products. Being substantially quicker to lay, far less labour intensive and ideal for use with underfloor heating, the use of flowing screed has become widely accepted throughout the building industry.

At Screedflo we are unique in having our own fleet of mobile batching vehicles. These are self-contained trucks that carry 12m³ of dry material and come complete with a pump and operator. When the truck is in position and connected to a water supply, the screed is mixed and pumped via delivery hoses over a distance of up to 150m. Larger pours can be accommodated, by site refilling of the vehicle, or by using multiple vehicles.

When we are finished pouring we wash down the area, and give you a print out from the onboard computer telling you exactly how much screed you have received.

The screed can usually be walked on after 24-48 hours (dependant upon ambient weather conditions), and can be worked on 4 - 5 days later.

For further information on our screed, please see our datasheets or watch the short online video.
